Attendance: Rotary Clubs meet every week, with the exception of national holidays that fall on the regular meeting day. Rotary considers attendance an essential part of being a member. If a member is unable to attend a club meeting there is ample opportunity to “make up” at another club. Most clubs require that a member attend at least 60% of the meetings in each six-month period and that at least half must be at the home club.
Participation: No one can be completely involved in all club activities because there are so many. Members have a wide choice of involvement including Community Service, International Service, Club Service, Vocational Assistance, Service to Youth, Fund Raising, and Special Programs. In addition, there are a few required social activities during the year.
